It is further understood that this seven (7) day operation is experimental and shall be reviewed by the Parties with adjustments being made as required. The daily hours of operation are tentatively set as 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. but subject to review between the Parties.
- The operation of the Cold Beer Store will be determined by the Manager and the Liquor Distribution Branch.
- Staffing levels will be scheduled according to the volume of business conducted.
- All hours will be paid at regular time from Monday to Saturday inclusive. Normal overtime rates will apply only on any hours exceeding forty (40) hours per week.
Any available hours will be offered to the most senior suitable employee who has not completed their regular forty (40) hours.
- All rates are as per those classified in Article V, Section 2 of the Collective Agreement except for the one full time employee who will receive eight (8) hours regular time per day plus one (1) extra hour's pay per day at the forklift truck rate.
- All employees must present a neat appearance at all times and be able to deal well with customers as outlined in the original job posting.
- Notwithstanding the hours worked provision contained in Article 4, the Company shall be permitted to operate the Beer Store on a seven (7) day week basis without penalty. The scheduling shall be done on a four (4) ten (10) hour day basis for the posted Clerk on either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday and the part time Clerk on the other three (3) shifts at straight time.
