On the death of an Active employee, the surviving spouse (and dependent children) will be provided with basic medical, hospital, major medical and dental coverage for 6 months following the month the active employee died.
On the death of a covered retiree, the surviving spouse (and dependent children) will be provided with basic medical, hospital, and major medical coverage for 3 months following the month the retiree died.
