6.01 - Holiday Entitlement
(a) The following shall be considered as Statutory Holidays on which employees shall not be required to work.
New Years Day Labour Day
Good Friday Thanksgiving Day
Easter Monday Remembrance Day
Victoria Day Christmas Day
Dominion Day Boxing Day
B.C. Day
and any additional holiday to be observed on the second Friday in February (in the event the government declares Heritage Day a Statutory Holiday, then this day shall be replaced by Heritage Day), plus all other Statutory Holidays as may be declared by the B.C. Provincial and Federal Governments.
b)Employees who have worked 1500 hours in a calendar year shall earn a floating holiday; such holiday shall be taken within the following twelve (12) month period.
6.02 - Qualification for Statutory Holiday pay

As per the employment Standards Act.
6.04 - Work Performed on a Statutory Holiday
As per the employment Standards Act.
6.05 - Union Negotiating Committee
It is understood and agreed that the Union Negotiation Committee shall not qualify for statutory holiday pay entitlement solely on the basis that they were working on Union business.
