Within thirty (30) days of ratification the Company shall establish a Training Committee consisting of two (2) representatives of the Company and two (2) representatives of the Union.
The Committee shall meet within the following thirty (30) days and thereafter when necessary or when requested by either party. Meetings will be conducted during working hours.
The mandate of the Committee shall be to review and revise the new employee training procedures including:
The number of days or hours of training required;
The training checklist;
Who is responsible for each portion of the training;
Employees who act as trainers shall be provided with scheduled training time separate from their normal store duties where necessary to train on core procedures, such as beer shipping and receiving, and wine receiving and storage procedures;
Completion of training and sign-off to ensure all new employees are fully trained.
The Company will initiate within six (6) months a program of beer and wine product training, with the objective of holding training sessions at least each six (6) months, such program to be approved by the Committee.
