Any regular employees hired or permanently promoted on or after May 1, 1997, except for those active non-benefit status employees on staff as of May 1, 1997, will be placed in the Truck Driver or All Other Help classification. An employee in this classification who is successful on a posted vacancy will be reclassified to the vacant position, but will retain the wage rate appropriate for those hired after May 1, 1997.
